We all remember the times when we were totally obsessed with drawing as a child, even though our drawings made no sense and were irregularly shaped it was still fun and exciting. Today fisher price has brought us the doodle pro grow which will give this generation of kids a more exciting way to express their inner artist. It is very amazing to see the level of technology we have being put into kid’s toys. In the past we had chalk and a small black board, now our kids have a more fascinating way to draw, just amazing!

With the doodle pro glow you get tracing sheets, eraser and three markers which is more than enough to keep your kids busy while you take some time for yourself. While this is a children’s toy it is not recommended to give a three year old to use. At that age we know how impatient they can be and this toy will only get them more frustrated. It is an incredible way to have them learn shapes and letters and also to have them more ‘’sharp’’ at their age. Many people don’t realize the effect drawing with a glow doodle can have on a child, not only can they have fun but they can also learn a lot by seeing the shapes of letters, numbers and regular shapes.

It is recommended that you first start your child off with normal chalk and board before they can advance to this. It takes a lot more patience and supervision when dealing with it. The process of cleaning is much more difficult and it not just a quick wipe. Using a damp cloth then drying with a towel should do the trick. It is also not that sturdy, if you kids get angry with it then chances are it’s going to break. While it is advancement in drawing it is still not a top notch as we should be seeing. The glow doodle should be utilized more as a learning instrument than a toy. What makes it so attractive to the kids is that fact that they glow, and we all know how kids like things that shine and things that glow in the dark.

While there are many drawbacks it is still a fantastic toy for your children to learn all their preschool work in a fun and easy way. Yes you may get a bit dirty depending on how neat your kids are but it can all come off easily. Why it is said to be for older children is so that they may learn responsibility and cleanliness and at that age they are well aware of these qualities and can understand their importance much easier. The doodle pro glow overall is a good product for learning through drawing, while there may be better or less messy versions of this same product they all basically accomplish the same thing and that is to educate your kids. It is always nice to see that different products are coming to the surface in this field and we can only guess what will come next.
